First, position 2 of the prepared 4-metre cords the way you can see in the video. Gradually start knotting, first to one side and then to the other. After the next piece of prepared 4m cord, add it to the ends of the sides – as shown – and start making simple knots from 4 strands, one in the middle and then nicely along the sides. Once the knots are done, make a fictitious little branch by knotting in a single line – nicely to one side and then to the other.
The number of branches on the tree is entirely up to you – prepare the individual pieces of cord accordingly and repeat the process until it reaches the size you want. In a similar way, but now without adding cords along the sides, fill in the centre of the tree until it is tall enough.
Make the bottom trim using simple knotting – just as you can see in the video. Join and adjust it in the middle.
