Round Crochet Bag Pattern

We have prepared a pattern for a round crochet bag for you. .

What we will need:

• approx. 1.5 balls of 3mm cotton BIGcord cord

• 6mm crochet hook

• scissors

• 20cm zipper

• leather strap

• rings or half-rings (if they are not part of the strap)

Step 1

Into a magic ring, crochet a chain stitch and 6 single crochets. We finish row 1 by pulling the loop through the first chain stitch - see the video.

Step 2

In the second row, we work into every stitch. Into each single crochet, we crochet 2 single crochets.

Step 3

In the third row, we increase in every third stitch, and we continue like this up to the 12th row. (in row 4 we increase in every 4th stitch, in row 5 in every fifth, etc...)

Tip: Place the increases in a different spot in each row so that you get a nice circle. If you always add stitches in the same place, you will end up with a hexagon.

Step 4

Once we have 12 rows, we continue with single crochets into the back loop.

Step 5

Last row - one single crochet into each stitch.

Step 6

We repeat the entire procedure from the first step once more, since we need two circles for the bag and we will sew both halves together.

Lining and finishing the bag

We sew on the metal rings, prepare the lining, sew in the zipper, and your round crochet bag is ready :)
