Wondering what bag to sew from our extra strong sewing cord? We have prepared one example for you - a tutorial for a sewn bag.

What will we need?

approx. 25 metres of extra strong sewing cord BIGcord

thread (ideally the same colour as the cord)

2 carabiners

fabric for the lining

5mm cord BIGcord for any macramé pendant

and let's not forget the sewing machine, scissors and pins ;)

We start with the bottom of the bag. From the cord we create a snail, fix it with a pin and start sewing with a zigzag stitch on the machine. We leave stitching the very beginning for later, when we have a larger circle and it will be easier to manipulate. We sew until we reach the desired size of the bag bottom.

Once the bottom is large enough, we move on to sewing the wall of the bag. And very simply - we lift the bottom perpendicular to the surface and continue sewing.

We try to lay the cord evenly and gently, not to stretch it, so that we achieve a nice straight, non-wavy wall of our bag.

For the strap we need to prepare loops...

The strap itself can be solved either by attaching an already finished strap, for example one from our range of leather or textile straps, or we can sew it according to the following video.

We are almost done. All that remains is to sew the inside of the bag. As the technology failed during the filming of the sewing, unfortunately the video recording does not exist and the lining itself is up to your creativity ;)
